Anxiety grips Democrats following Biden’s horrific debate performance

Anxiety grips Democrats the ruling party in the United States of America minutes after the Presidential Debate between it’s candidate the incumbent President Joe Biden and the Republican candidate Donald Trump ended.

Vice President Kamala Harris rushed to CNN early on Friday morning (Nigerian Time) to reassure American voters after President Joe Biden came out from a horrific debate with Donald Trump that saw many gasping over the mental capacities of the incumbent president.

Minutes after the debate ended, CNN anchor, John King revealed that many senior Democrats reported to him that party leaders were seething with rage over the performance of the presidential candidate.

Many Democratic operatives were considering their options with reports that Democrats running for office in November were seething that a change had to be effected in order for them not to lose.

“We have a problem” CNN quoted Democratic operatives as saying after the debate with some also saying that nothing good came out of the debate.

Biden disaster happened minutes into the debate when the president momentarily lost his words and gaped sending horror among the party support base.

Democrats also raged that Biden failed to exploit the party’s advantages on abortion and what many echoed as the ‘many lies’ that President Trump reeled out.

The Trump camp was exhilarated by the fact that the Republican candidate did not stumble by going after the president’s family as some had expected him to do.

White House sources are at the moment attributing the Biden performance to a cold.

However, speaking to CNN’s Jake Taper after the debate, Vice President Harris disagreed that Biden bungled insisting that the initial apprehensions were overwhelmed by what she described as a strong finishing.

She said that she would rather focus on the strong economic deliverables made by President Biden.

Notwithstanding her assertions, that Republican strategists were also now beginning to spread word that a vote for Biden would be a vote for President Harris, a message to resonate with voters who even have a lower esteem of the vice-president.
