Nigerian actress, Anita Joseph has reacted to a statement by ace singer, 2baba on why men are unfaithful.In an episode of the South African reality show “Young, Famous and African,” 2baba, also known as 2face, offered an explanation for men’s infidelity.It was gathered that, 2face stated that a man can still cheat on a woman he loves due to his s3xual cravings.He explained that in such moments, a man’s focus is solely on fulfilling his s3xual desires and not on the emotional connection he shares with his partner.Upon hearing these comments, Anita Joseph raised questions about whether 2baba was indirectly conveying to his wife, Annie, that he would not cease his infidelity.“Chaii, in other words, you’re telling her you won’t ever stop cheating. Sensational Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, aka Rema has reached a new milestone. The singer has surpassed Wizkid’s record for the longest-running African song atop the Billboard World Digital Song Sales. Rema’s hit song with Selena Gomez, ‘Calm Down’ has spent a record 18 weeks at No. 1 on the chart this week, surpassing Wizkid and Tems’ 2020 ‘Essence’ which spent 17 weeks atop the chart. However, ‘Calm Down’ slipped one step down to No. 5 this week on the main Billboard Hot 100 chart. Recall that the song reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart last week, making it the highest-charting and longest-running Nigerian song in the history of the chart. ‘Calm Down’ also debuted at No. 5 on the official Billboard Song of the Summer chart, making it the first African song to appear on the chart.

Biola Adebayo, a popular actress, has talked about her marriage.She explained the reason behind not having a long courtship with her husband before signing the dotted line.She stated this while recounting her love story on her YouTube channel.She said, “I realised that we had a lot of things in common. Me and my husband did not court for too long. We got married in less than six months (after we started dating). That was because I knew what I wanted.”Adebayo added that marrying a Christian was an important consideration in her search for a life partner.She said, “First, I was looking for a believer (Christian). That was utmost for me. I was looking for somebody that lived in Nigeria and was not ready to ‘japa’ (relocate). I got a lot of advances from guys abroad but I did not want to leave Nigeria. My former husband lived abroad. I can speak Hausa, and my husband can speak the language too. We have many things in common. When we finally met, I realised that I could give him a chance. After about two weeks (of knowing each other), we met in person.Adebayo also stated that she was not desperate about marriage.She added, “I was never desperate about marriage. Rather, I was patiently waiting. I knew the kind of person I wanted, and I knew that God would bring that person in His own time, so I was not bothered.”
