The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has urged President Bola Tinubu to eliminate terrorist groups across Nigeria within 90 days.
Speaking after the church’s November Holy Ghost Service, themed “The Eve of Glory,” Adeboye said the growing insecurity in the nation must be tackled urgently. He advised the president to set a clear deadline for security chiefs to act decisively or face dismissal.
Adeboye’s comments come amid renewed global attention following U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent warning over rising insecurity in Nigeria. The cleric appealed to the government to act “fast, diplomatically, and wisely,” urging Tinubu to convince the U.S. to delay any military action for 100 days while Nigeria works to restore peace.
