President Muhammadu Buhari has asked Governor Samuel Ortom to acknowledge the capital projects done in Benue state by his administration instead of criticizing him.
Channels Television reported that President Buhari said this during the commissioning of four high impact projects at the Federal University of Agriculture in Makurdi on Thursday September 29.
The Nigerian leader was represented by House committee chairman on tertiary education, Mr Aminu Suleiman Goro, at the event.
Buhari told Ortom that rather than cast only aspersions, he should speak about the good deeds of the present government, whenever he (Ortom) engages the media to criticize the APC-led administration.
Insisting that this is what needs to be done in good faith to demonstrate a working democracy, the Nigerian President added that his administration will continue to encourage entrepreneurship education in universities to help produce wealth creators and this requires the support of government at all levels.
