The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement 2027 has hailed the appointment of Senator Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari as Director General of the Presidential Campaign Council for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pledging full grassroots support to ensure victory for the All Progressives Congress, APC in 2027.
In a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Comrade Sunday Adekanbi Asuku, the Movement described Yari’s appointment as well-deserved and a clear demonstration of confidence in his political experience and commitment to the party.
“We congratulate Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar on his appointment as Director General of the Presidential Campaign Council. He is a devoted member of the APC family and a politician with the experience, network and capacity required for this important assignment.
“We are confident that Senator Yari will deliver on the mandate and lead the campaign to a resounding victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC in 2027,” the statement said.
The group said Yari has remained a loyal and committed member of the APC, and expressed confidence that he would deploy his wealth of experience to coordinate the campaign effectively.
It urged the newly constituted campaign council to “hit the ground running” by strengthening party structures, mobilising supporters, and taking the achievements of the Tinubu administration to Nigerians at the grassroots.
“There is no time to waste. The task ahead requires immediate action, unity of purpose and aggressive grassroots engagement,” it stated.
The Movement further pledged its full cooperation to the campaign council, assuring that its structures across the 36 states of the federation and the FCT are ready for deployment.
According to the group, its network of Zonal Coordinators, State Coordinators and Ward-level Crusaders will be mobilised to canvass support for President Tinubu and all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
It also called on APC stakeholders and members to close ranks, noting that unity, effective coordination and grassroots mobilisation remain key to securing a decisive victory for the party in 2027.
