A grassroots political organisation, the Tinubu House-to-House Network, has honoured the President of the 9th Senate, Senator Ahmad Lawan with a prestigious Award of Excellence for his support to grassroots mobilisation and national development.
The award, according to a statement signed by Lawan’,s media aide, Dr. Ezrel Tabiowo, was presented during the historic inauguration of the Executive Committee of the 19 Northern States and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT chapter of the group held in Dutse, Jigawa State.
The statement disclosed that the former Senate President, who represents Yobe North Senatorial District, serves as a Patron of the influential political network.
It further explained that the inauguration ceremony served as a launchpad for galvanizing support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda across the Northern region ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking at the event, the National Secretary of the Tinubu House-to-House Network, Comrade Bashir Sharif, lauded Senator Lawan’s role as a stabilizing force and a respected voice in Northern politics.
“As pledged by our distinguished Patron, Senator Ahmad Lawan, the Northern region is poised to deliver nothing less than 75 percent of its votes to ensure the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces in 2027. This award speaks to his leadership and our collective resolve.
“The Tinubu House-to-House Network is a foremost grassroots political organisation dedicated to promoting the ideals, policies, and electoral success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Sharif said.
