Former Turkish defender Erman Toroğlu has sparked debate after insisting that Youssef En-Nesyri, Kerem Aktürkoğlu and Jhon Durán combined still cannot match Victor Osimhen’s impact at Galatasaray. He made the remarks while analysing Gala’s 3–2 win over Samsunspor.
Toroğlu highlighted Osimhen’s two brilliant goals in the match, stressing that the Nigerian forward remains on a completely different level. He argued that Fenerbahçe’s attackers lack the efficiency and dominance Osimhen consistently delivers.
He also criticised Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk and the club’s management, saying their performance does not reflect the heavy summer spending. According to him, the gap at the top of the table should be wider if the team were meeting expectations.
