Joseph Aloba, father of the late singer Illerioluwa “Mohbad” Aloba, has insisted that a DNA test must be conducted on his grandson before the singer’s burial can take place. Despite growing public calls for Mohbad’s body to be laid to rest following an inconclusive autopsy, Aloba maintains that the issue of paternity must be resolved first.
In a recent interview with TVC, Aloba stated that he would not release his son’s remains until a DNA test is carried out on little Liam. He expressed doubts over the child’s paternity, alleging that Mohbad’s wife sometimes stayed away from home without her husband’s consent.
Reacting to accusations that he is attempting to inherit Mohbad’s belongings or wearing the late singer’s clothes, Aloba dismissed the claims as false. He explained that he and his son were close when Mohbad was alive and bought each other clothes, adding that he has not visited Mohbad’s house since his death.
