Nigerian rapper Zlatan Ibile has revealed that he avoids investing in emerging artistes because of the high financial risks involved. Speaking on the Adesope Live show, he noted that there is no guarantee such investments will yield profits, making them an uncertain venture.
Zlatan stated that his primary focus in the music industry is financial security and long-term stability. According to him, early pressures in his career exposed him to anxiety and imbalance, shaping his decision to prioritise safer investments like real estate over funding new talents.
However, he clarified that while he won’t invest money in upcoming artistes, he is always open to collaborating and offering support through features—just as others did for him when he was rising in the industry.
