The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced an extension of the Permanent Voter Card (PVC) collection exercise in Anambra State, giving eligible voters additional time to obtain their cards ahead of the upcoming governorship election.
The new deadline is now Sunday, November 2, 2025.
According to INEC, the extension aims to ensure that all registered voters, especially those who completed their registration during the recent Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) can collect their PVCs at their designated collection centres across the 326 wards in the state.
INEC emphasized that PVC collection must be done in person, as no proxy collection will be permitted.
The Commission urged all eligible voters to take advantage of the extension to collect their PVCs and get ready to participate actively in the Anambra Governorship Election.
