The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has approved a contract worth ₦1.74 billion for the procurement of 12 new emergency ambulances aimed at boosting emergency response capacity across the FCT.
Mandate Secretary of Health, Human and Environment Services, Dr. Adedolapo Fasawe, disclosed this after the FCT Executive Council meeting, noting that the decision reflects the administration’s commitment to improving healthcare delivery and emergency response systems in Abuja.
She emphasized that the ambulances will be equipped with advanced life-support facilities to ensure faster and more efficient medical responses during emergencies.
