Veteran Nollywood actor Kalu Ikeagwu has shared a hilarious yet awkward experience from his acting career, watching a romantic kissing scene he did with actress Ini Edo in the presence of his mother.
Speaking in an interview with The Nation, the 53-year-old actor revealed that the incident happened when his mother requested to watch one of his movies after noticing fans asking him for photos and autographs during a visit.
Wanting to impress her, Kalu said he carefully picked what he thought was the “safest” movie from his collection, only to be caught off guard by an unexpected kissing scene with Ini Edo.
The actor said the moment was so tense that he began sweating nervously as the scene approached.
Kalu Ikeagwu noted that the experience taught him to be more cautious about the roles he accepts, especially since his family sometimes watches his films.
