Tinubu Says Abia, Other States Benefitting from Fuel Subsidy Removal

President Bola Tinubu has stated that Abia State and other parts of the country are reaping the rewards of the fuel subsidy removal policy. He said the decision has provided more resources for state governments to undertake meaningful development projects.

Speaking through the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, during his one-day official visit to Abia State on Friday, Tinubu noted that the policy, though initially controversial, is now showing tangible progress in infrastructure and economic development across the federation.

He emphasized that the ongoing projects in Abia, including the remodeled Dr. Michael Okpara Auditorium and several completed roads, reflect the broader benefits of the subsidy removal.
