Anambra Unveils 25 Free Wifi Sites For Digital Inclusion

The Anambra State Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) has activated 25 live WiFi hotspots across the state as part of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s digitization agenda.

Named the “Solution WiFi” initiative, the project aims to democratize internet access by placing hotspots at public locations including Aroma Junction, Eke Awka, UNIZIK Junction, Nwafor Orizu College of Education Nsugbe, the College of Health Obosi, and the Jerome Udorji Secretariat.

The Managing Director of ICTA, Fred Agbata, said the initiative is meant to bridge the digital divide by offering free connectivity to students, traders, civil servants, and the general public.

The state government described the WiFi sites as essential infrastructure to support governance digitization, education access, and inclusive development for all Ndi Anambra.
