The National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) in Osun State has declared that its members will not resume work on Monday as earlier planned. The union cited concerns over the safety of its members amidst the ongoing local government administration dispute in the state.
NULGE leadership explained that until adequate measures are put in place to ensure the protection of workers at their duty posts, the suspension of resumption will continue.
The union urged both the state government and relevant stakeholders to address the crisis to guarantee a safe and conducive work environment for its members.
