As Nigeria marks its 65th Independence Anniversary, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has assured citizens that Abuja remains one of the safest cities in the country.
Speaking during the celebrations, Wike credited the feat to the collaborative efforts of government agencies, security operatives, and residents, who have collectively worked to sustain peace and unity in the capital.
He praised Abuja residents for their vigilance and cooperation, urging them to continue reporting suspicious activities while supporting the administration’s law-and-order initiatives.
Wike emphasized that Abuja’s security record reflects what can be achieved when citizens and government work hand in hand.
