Focus on building excellent careers, Senior lawyers advices new wigs

Okene born statesman and retired Director of Federal Ministry of Justice, Abdulramhim Opolu Shaibu has advised new wigs to give legal practice the seriousness it’s deserved from day one and through out their career .

He gave the advice at a “Call to Bar Reception” organised by Chukwuma -Machukwu Ume.SAN ànd.Co law firm in Abuja .last week in honour of Iheakachukwu Uzondu Ekwueme Esq.and Àsiegbu Chiamaka Esq .

The Chairman of the event Abdulramhim Opolu Shaibu thanked the ” firm for it’s efforts in monitoring new wigs , pointing out that this is a law firm that mentored a law school student from attachment programme through National Youth Service and the lawyer.worked with the firm for 16 years and elevated to High court bench as a judge.

He profusely appreciates the law firm for giving opportunities for young lawyers to grow.

The Chairman recalled that he had in the past on several occasions witnessed the firm honouring candidates who distinguished themselves at Bar examination. He said he was an invitee when the late Deputy Senate President Ibrahim Manto chaired one of those receptions when the firm honoured candidate with first class in the Bar examination.

Speaking during the event the Guest Speaker Chijioke Okoli , SAN, a Lagos based legal practitioner and former Chairman of NBA Lagos branch urged the new entrance into.the legal profession to focus on building successful careers.

Also speaking at the event Chukwuma – Machukwu Ume ,SAN, the Imo State Hon. Attorney General Emeritus advised the new wigs that tomorrow belongs to them who have the clutch to climb the ladder.
