The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) has ordered its members to halt gas and crude oil deliveries to the Dangote Petroleum Refinery, escalating a dispute over alleged dismissals of unionized workers.
Union leadership directed that all crude oil supply valves to the facility be shut and vessel loading operations suspended.
The move was described as a response to what the union called “anti-labour practices” and retaliatory dismissals.
