Al Hilal manager Simone Inzaghi has confirmed that Brazilian full-back Renan Lodi has decided to leave the Saudi club with immediate effect.
Inzaghi, while addressing the media, expressed disappointment at the sudden departure, noting Lodi’s contributions during the Club World Cup campaign where he impressed with consistent performances.
“I’m sad because he did very well for us at the Club World Cup and he’s always been a great professional,” Inzaghi said, praising the player’s character and professionalism despite the abrupt exit.
