BREAKING: Kasper Hjulmand Appointed Bayer Leverkusen Head Coach

Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen have confirmed the appointment of Kasper Hjulmand as their new head coach.

The 53-year-old Dane, who previously managed the Denmark national team, has signed a contract with the club running until 2027.

Hjulmand succeeds Erik ten Hag, who recently departed the role, and will now be tasked with continuing Leverkusen’s progress both domestically and in Europe.

The Dane is well-regarded for his tactical discipline, player development, and attacking philosophy qualities Leverkusen believe make him the right fit for their long-term project.
