Maverick singer, Brymo, has called out Nigerian music heavyweights, including Burna Boy and Davido, urging them to stop remixing every trending hit released by rising artistes.
In a post shared via his Instagram story, Brymo accused mainstream stars of leveraging the buzz of new acts under the guise of “helping them reach a wider audience.” He argued that such collaborations only serve to keep A-list artistes relevant while stifling the growth of upcoming talents.
“Let other artistes find their own way,” he wrote. “Stop seeking relevance in the efforts of ones who know little about the business. It’s vile.”
