Popular Nigerian rapper, Odumodublvck, has said he would retire from music once all the members of his hip-hop collective, Anti World Gangstars, attain success in the industry. He made this known in a recent post on his X handle, writing, “Once all my n*ggas make it in music, I’m out.”
The Abuja-born rapper leads the six-man crew, which includes rappers Agunna, Fatboy E, Reeplay, Shagba, and producer/engineer Cross. Despite his personal success and high-profile collaborations with the likes of Davido, Skepta, and Stormzy, his group members remain relatively unknown in the mainstream scene.
Odumodublvck gained national prominence with his 2023 breakout single “Declan Rice,” which he has described as “the most impactful” Nigerian hip-hop song ever. Since then, he has consistently used his platform to promote his crew but says he’ll step away from the spotlight once they all make it.
