Manchester United have stepped up their pursuit of RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko with a £74 million (€85m) bid, including a guaranteed payment of £65.2m (€75m).
The 22-year-old Slovenia forward, known for his height (6ft 5in) and physical presence, has scored 39 goals in 87 appearances for Leipzig. Newcastle United are also in the race, offering around £69.5m (€80m).
The Red Devils believe Sesko is a perfect fit and are willing to let Rasmus Hojlund leave to make space for him.
While negotiations continue, Man Utd are confident about the deal as the player has expressed a strong desire to join Old Trafford.
