The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that recruitment into Nigeria’s paramilitary agencies will officially commence on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Eligible Nigerians are invited to apply for positions within the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), Nigerian Prisons Service (NCoS), and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
The Board disclosed that the recruitment portal will go live on the commencement date and remain open for a specific period. Applicants are encouraged to visit the official CDCFIB website, adhere strictly to the application guidelines, and confirm they meet the required age and educational criteria for their chosen positions.
CDCFIB reiterated that the recruitment process is entirely free and warned against dealings with anyone requesting payment. Only shortlisted applicants will proceed to the next stages, which include documentation, physical screening, and background verification to determine suitability for service.
