The Kano State Government has officially declared a two-week break for all public and private schools across the state in observance of the Eid-el-Kabir (Sallah) celebrations. The directive, issued through the Ministry of Education, mandates that schools begin the holiday on Friday, June 7, 2025, with resumption scheduled for Monday, June 24, 2025.
According to the ministry, the break aligns with the state’s academic calendar and is meant to allow students and staff to fully partake in the religious festivities.
