NOA Writes Sarkin Mota Over Viral Car Video, Warns Against Promoting ‘Get-Rich-Quick’ Mentality

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has issued a formal letter to social media content creator Sarkin Mota following a viral video in which he questioned whether Nigerian civil servants could afford a luxury car.

The agency expressed concern that such content could promote unrealistic aspirations and trigger a desperation to get rich at all costs, especially among impressionable youths.

In its letter, NOA emphasized the need for influencers to be mindful of their messaging, urging them to use their platforms to promote integrity, hard work, and national values. The agency reiterated its role in shaping public conduct and warned that misleading portrayals of wealth can undermine public service morale and fuel societal discontent.
