On Thursday, 22nd November 2024, I had the privilege of hosting a distinguished career diplomat and the 4th Director General of Voice of Nigeria (2015–2016), Mr. Sampson Ogbonda Worlu, in my office.
His visit presented a valuable opportunity to engage with a seasoned leader whose contributions significantly advanced the growth and development of Nigeria’s international broadcasting station.
During our conversation, I expressed my sincere appreciation to him for making time to visit and share his wealth of experience. His insights on repositioning Voice of Nigeria to more effectively fulfill its mandate were both inspiring and constructive.
His guidance and reflections remain invaluable as we strive to enhance the station’s global reach, relevance, and impact.
