Dignitaries from all works of life have continued to visit the hill-top mansion of former Military President, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, who is marking his 80th birthday on Aug.17.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that notable among early callers at the house was former President Olusegun Obasanjo,who arrived the hill-top mansion at about 10.15a.m.
NAN reports that Obasanjo came to the house with a long convey of vehicles.
Others included former Minister of Defence,Gen. Aliyu Gusau,and former Director of Military Intelligence, Gen.Halilu Akilu.
Journalists who gathered to cover the event, were, however, politely prevented from entering the mansion.
There was presence of both uniformed policemen and plain cloth security agents at all the entrance of the gates leading to the house.
