Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has called on citizens to play their part in building a nation they truly desire, assuring that their sacrifices for national progress will never be in vain.

In her Independence Day message, captioned β€œAll Hands On Deck For A Greater Nation”, she urged Nigerians to adopt a spirit of service over entitlement, stressing that unity and dedication remain key to achieving the Nigeria of their dreams.

Drawing inspiration from John F. Kennedy’s iconic words and Gebran Kalil Gebran’s essay β€œThe New Frontier”, the First Lady emphasized the importance of asking what one can contribute to the nation rather than what can be taken from it.

She congratulated Nigerians on the country’s 65th Independence anniversary and offered prayers for a more prosperous and united future.
