The wife of the Ebonyi State Governor, Mrs. Uzoamaka Nwifuru, has launched the second phase of her Baby Showers Initiative, enrolling 10,000 pregnant women into the state health insurance scheme for free antenatal and postnatal care.
According to Caleb Ogbonna, the latest registration brings the total number of beneficiaries under the initiative to 14,078, marking a significant step toward reducing maternal mortality and improving access to quality healthcare for women in the state.
